Terms of Service
Agreement
By signing in to Nexus (personalnexus.app) you agree to these terms and to the Privacy Policy below. If you do not agree, do not sign in.
The Service
Nexus is a relationship tool. It reads your sent email (Google or Microsoft), builds a contact list, scores relationships, and reminds you who to follow up with. It is in beta and may change, break, or shut down.
Your Account
You sign in with your Google or Microsoft account and are responsible for keeping it secure.
Mailbox Permission
At sign-in we request read-only mail access so a background sync can import sent-mail metadata. We never modify, delete, or send mail from your mailbox. You can revoke access in your Google or Microsoft account settings at any time; sync then stops.
Acceptable Use
Use Nexus for your own relationship tracking. Don't attempt to access other users' data, overload the system, or use it for anything illegal. If you invite teammates, you're responsible for who you invite. You're responsible for using contact information stored in Nexus lawfully.
Our Emails
We send follow-up digests and account or invitation messages. You can turn digests off in Settings.
Disclaimer and Liability
Nexus is provided as is, without warranties. Scores and reminders are estimates, not advice. To the extent allowed by law, we are not liable for lost data, missed follow-ups, mail-provider outages, or indirect damages, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the prior 12 months.
Ending Use
You can stop using Nexus and revoke mail access at any time, and can ask us to delete your stored data (see the Privacy Policy). We may suspend accounts that violate these terms or close the service.
Changes
We may update these terms; the date at the top marks the latest version. Continued use after a change means you accept it.

Privacy Policy
Overview
This policy explains what Nexus collects and why. Signing in means you agree to it.
Account Information
Your name and email from Google or Microsoft, used to create and identify your account.
Mail Information
With your permission we read your sent messages to find who you emailed. We store
recipient names and addresses, dates, subjects, and message identifiers (used to
avoid duplicates). We never download or store email bodies.
The Google (gmail.readonly) and Microsoft (Mail.Read)
permissions technically allow reading more than sent mail; we only read sent items.
Information You Enter
Contact tiers, follow-up frequency, tags, notes, snooze/ignore choices, and digest preferences.
Tokens and Cookies
We store an encrypted OAuth refresh token so background sync can run without you signing in each time. We use a cookie to keep you signed in and anti-forgery cookies on forms — no advertising or analytics cookies.
How We Use Data
To sync your sent mail, show contacts, scores, and follow-ups, send digests and invitations, and keep the service secure. We keep technical logs (timing, errors, sync status) to run and debug the service.
Google User Data (Limited Use)
Nexus's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We use Gmail data only to provide Nexus features to you — never for ads, never sold, never used to train generalized AI or ML models.
Who We Share With
- Teammates you invite join your Nexus organization. Each person's contact lists and scores still come only from their own mailbox.
- Service providers that run the product: Google and Microsoft (sign-in and mail APIs), Microsoft Azure (database), Resend (outgoing email), and our hosting provider. Your browser also loads fonts and icons from Google Fonts and the Font Awesome CDN.
- Law: we may disclose data when legally required or to protect the service.
We do not sell your data or share your mail data with anyone else.
Retention and Deletion
We keep your data while your account is active. Revoking Nexus in Google Account permissions or Microsoft account permissions stops future sync but does not erase already-stored data — email support@personalnexus.app to have it deleted.
Security
HTTPS in transit, database encryption at rest, refresh tokens encrypted with an application key, and read-only mail scopes. No method is perfect.
Children
Nexus is for adults 18 and older.
Changes and Contact
We update the date at the top when this policy changes. Questions: support@personalnexus.app.
